Female Nigerian musician #Yemi Alade has urged the youths of Nigeria who have been protesting
for over two weeks to cease the destruction of valuable properties that will be needed in the future.
This comes after the killings and shootings at Lekki Toll Gate. Some angry youth hit the streets to destroy some properties which included some state properties
after the shootings on Tuesday. Recall that some hoodlums stormed the premises of News Station, TVC
to burn down the entire building on Wednesday and also burn BRT buses.

Yemi Alde has taken to her #Twitter page to advise the youth to desist from destroying properties which will be of need in the future out of being emotional.

“With all the emotions running wild, it’s still very important to NOT DESTROY THE THINGS WE WILL NEED TOMORROW. #KEEPHOPEALIVE” she tweeted.

Pop artistes #Yemi Alade, #2Baba and #Rema have delivered a beautiful rendition to celebrate Nigeria’s 60th independence anniversary, Igbere TV reports.
Directed by Cohbams Asuquo, the three musicians sang the first stanza of the national anthem with joy and pride for the country.
The song was delivered through the initiative of Coca-Cola.
Marketing Communications Director, West Africa Business Unit, Coca-Cola, Monali Shah spoke on
the initiative.
She said:

“This Independence Day, we are championing an experience that we hope will leave a lasting positive mark on Nigerians.
