Dagrin Music Mate "Lala" Dies Months After Completing MSc Program (PICS)

Singer Alayande Lola Oladapo Quam popularly known as Lala is dead.
This was made known from a #Facebook post as shared by his brother few hours ago.
Lala came into limelight when he dropped his hit single, ‘Idi Nla’ which featured the late rap star, Dagrin.
Lala graduated from Lagos State University department of Project Management seven years ago and returned to the citadel years later to study for his Master’s degree.
He finished his Msc program last year and was one of the graduating students in December, 2020.
Cause of his death wasn't made known by his brother. While friends are pouring their tribute on the singer's Facebook.
He's survived by a little son

Bolaji Basia: K1 Bought N20m Piece Of Land For Me

Entertainment promoter, Bolaji Basia, has revealed how fuji maestro, K1 de Ultimate paid N20m for his piece of land, Igbere TV reports.
Bolaji, who has been friends with K1 for four decades from their days in Agarawu, Lagos Island, stated this in a #Facebook and #Instagram post on Monday.

“I called the agent when I didn’t hear from the owner again He told me the property had been paid for. I asked him why and who? My thought was the owner was playing games with me so that he can increase the price.
“Until he told me it was my friend that paid for it… I called him to thank him and get his account number to refund his money. He told me OMO, THAT WAS YOUR 60TH BIRTHDAY GIFT FROM ME…
“I was like wow… still thought he was joking because business has been extremely dull for him which he told me himself and I can see it
myself that many shows were canceled due to covid-19 partial lockdown on entertainment industry,” he said.
The man who once squatted the singer in Canada added: “Of course I knew he was going to support me one way or the other on the project but not 20m and definitely not this time that he wasn’t making money.”
Celebrating K1’s 63rd birthday in March 2020, Bolaji revealed that K1 squatted with him in Canada for months before he could buy a house.
“When you (K1) came to Canada, for months, you were sleeping on my sofa in my living room before you bought your own house.
Even though I offered you a room, you still preferred to sleep on the sofa.
“Sometimes, when we wanted to travel with limited funds, you would suggest we paid for one room with single bed for us to share.
There was no sacrifice too much for your music career back then – that is how passionate you
are about your music till date,” Bolaji said.

BBNaija: Ogun Youths March For Laycon, Give Out Airtime For Voting (photos)

ABEOKUTA— As the 2020 #BBNAIJA lockdown gradually draws to a close, youths in Ogun
State, on Thursday, staged a walk around Abeokuta, the state capital to drum support forone of the housemate, Olamilekan Agbeleshe,
popularly known as Laycon. The youths walked for about four hours; across major streets and markets in the state capital with a
banner with an inscription “Ogun Youths Walk For Laycon,” gave away free recharge cards to
passers-by for voting in support of the housemate.
Speaking to journalists, Chairman of theNigeria Youth Congress, NYC, in Ogun State, Afolabi Oluwaseyi, who led the walk, said the support for Laycon is because he is from the
state, adding that he has represented theYoruba race properly. Oluwaseyi hinted that Laycon is not just an ordinary person in BBNaija house, but an intelligent, team player, full of talents among the other housemates.
According to him, “I am the Nigeria Youth Congress, Ogun State Chairman. We are trying to move around Ogun State to mobilise
support for him so that people can vote for him. “We are giving recharge cards to people to vote for him. When we give them the card, we tell them to vote for him.
“Laycon is a son of the soil in the BBNaija house. We are mobilising for people to support and vote for him because this is the last week
