Obianuju Catherine Udeh who is professionally known as DJ Switch is a Nigerian disc jockey, singer,
and songwriter.
She hails from Udi Local Government Area, Enugu State, Nigeria, and was born on the 26th of April, 1984.

Early Life & Education

She was born and raised in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria. Her father is dead and she is the last child
out of eight children. She had her primary and secondary school education in Warri after which she
got admitted into the University of Port Harcourt and obtained a degree in Geology. In 2013, during an interview with Encomium Weekly, she revealed that she has an eight-year-old child.

Career

She was a member of the now-defunct music group Da Pulse and the group won the 2009 edition of the reality music competition, Star Quest. After their
victory, the group featured award-winning rapper, Busta Rhymes on the song ‘So Tey’.
Her solo career kicked off and in 2013, she emerged the winner of the maiden and only edition of the Glo X-Factor 2013. Part of the reward as the winner was a recording deal with Sony Music. In March 2017, Peter Okoye popularly known as Mr P signed DJ Switch to his record label P Classics and since then she has been his disc jockey.
DJ Switch got national accolades and also international recognition after she streamed the mass shooting of peaceful protesters in Lekki on her #Instagram live and also helped gunshot victims.
